FT550 Kawasaki 1500 Harness allows you to remove the stock ECU from the Kawasaki SX-R 1500 Jet Ski and replace it with a FuelTech FT550 standalone ECU for racing purposes. 

The FT550 ECU's additional inputs may be wired to additional sensors, such as fuel pressure, oil pressure, tunnel pressure, temperature, and more via the extra connector. Available outputs may be used to control the boost controller, nitrous, additional fuel pumps, and more! The CAN bus communication allows FuelTech's FTCAN compatible components to be connected without reducing the number of available inputs (14) or outputs (24).  The EGT-4, for exhaust gas temperature sensors, as well as our Nano and NanoPRO O2 conditioners, for wideband O2 sensors, are among our most popular FTCAN components.

To upgrade the Kawasaki PWC to an aftermarket ECU requires the addition of an ignitor module to drive the double coils. We recommend either the SparkPRO-3 (Nautical/Off-Road) ignitor, which we developed specifically to meet the demands of watersports and rugged offroad conditions, or the OEM 3-Channel Ignition Module. While the PWC has 2 coils, we recommend the 3-channel ignition as it is more readily available. To install the plug and play harness adapter, the stock harness must be modified by unpinning the 12v from the idle control valve.
